Art and Lighting Curation
The pieces that make a room unmistakably yours: chosen for the architecture, placed with care, and lit so they can be seen.
01The Service
Art and light are where a room finds its character. We select and place artwork, decorative objects and lighting that suit the architecture and the interior around them.
Curation can be the whole brief, a collection that needs hanging or a new home that needs its first pieces, or the final layer of a larger project. Lighting is part of the same decision: a painting is only as good as the light on it.
What it can include
- 01Selection of artwork and decorative objects
- 02Statement and decorative lighting
- 03Placement and hanging plans
- 04Delivery and installation coordination
- 05Final arrangement on site
Art
Paintings and sculpture chosen to give each room a distinct point of view.
Lighting
Sculptural pendants and considered light bring warmth, focus and atmosphere.
02Art and Light Together
A painting is only as good as the light on it.
We treat art and lighting as one decision. In one lounge, the carved Raka light became the room's centrepiece, and every artwork below it was placed in relation to it.
Questions
Asked before we begin.
Can you work with art I already own?
Yes. Often the best starting point is what a client already loves; we plan the room and the light around it.
Do you commission new work?
Tell us what you have in mind and we will discuss how to approach it for your space.
Is curation available without a full interior project?
Yes. It can be taken on its own or as part of a larger project.
